  • Preparatory one-year course


    Economic one-year course of study of the Czech language
    In the first year, students will take the Economic One-Year Course in Czech.
    Higher education in the Czech Republic is free of charge, including for foreigners. Anyone can enroll, the main condition is knowledge of the Czech language. The course will allow you to learn this easy language for Ukrainian speakers and prepare for exams.
    Graduates of foreign universities, as well as school leavers, can receive free higher education in the Czech Republic by choosing one of the 26 state universities. The bachelor's degree program lasts 3 years, the master's degree program - 2 years, and graduates receive a bachelor's (Bc.), master's (Mgr.) or engineering (Ing.) degree along with their diploma. Having an academic title means being two heads above the rest in the eyes of Czechs. 
    Foreigners come to the Czech Republic for several reasons:
    First, it is affordable. Secondly, you can retrain and choose a different specialty for a second higher education. Third, Czech diplomas are valued anywhere in the world. Fourth, you can combine study and work legally. Fifthly, you can start your own business in the Czech Republic on favorable terms right after graduation.
    Top specialties include:

    The period of entrance examinations to higher education institutions, except for creative specialties, begins in late May and lasts until mid/late June. You can try to apply to several universities at the same time or to several specialties at the same university, and then choose the most suitable option.
    The standard period of study for a bachelor's degree is 3 years, for a Czech master's degree - 2 years, and one more year is given in case of postponement of state exams or diploma. All subsequent years spent at the university are paid for separately.
    The main condition for admission:
    A complete secondary education/bachelor's or specialist's degree, knowledge of the Czech language at B2 level. It is not difficult to learn Czech during our one-year language course.
    What do I need to apply for a bachelor's degree in the Czech Republic?
    Stage 1: Nostrification of a secondary school certificate, usually accompanied by 3-5 exams from the school curriculum. Our educational center has a nostrification department that helps students with the preparation of documents at all stages of the procedure.
    Stage 2: Entrance exams are usually held in the form of tests, which you can prepare for in advance. Some regional universities accept students without exams, on the basis of a nostrified certificate and grades.
    Course program:
    Stage 1: Czech for B2 level - 700 hours
    700 hours of Czech language with native speakers for foreign applicants (30 academic hours per week)
    Czech language classes are held 5 days a week. Therefore, almost all of our students reach B2 level within a year, which is the average threshold for most Czech universities. Classes at our center are taught by professional Czech lecturers. Their task is not just to provide foreign students with grammar, but to teach them to speak and understand the language, as well as to prepare them for the final language exam, which is held at the Purkine State University in Usti nad Labem. During the academic year, all students take practice tests at different language levels. Moreover, each lecture is completed with a mandatory test. A university commission monitors the progress of our students.
    Stage 2: English language training - 200 hours
    Students will develop reading, writing, listening and speaking skills with native speakers, learn business English, and this knowledge will be useful even for students with a high level of language proficiency.
    Stage 3: 500 hours of specialized preparation for entrance exams
    The cost of this course is 5700 euros, with a 300 euro discount if you register for the course before the end of September.
    The subsistence level in Prague is about 5000 euros (accommodation/food)
